A monument to the Chizik Pizik [or Chizhik Pizhik].

Apperently the first post-soviet statue (Rough Guide), this tiny bronze bird is refered to in the folk song above. Situated below a bridge near the Engineer's Castle, on the Fontanka, it is good luck if you drop a coin and it lands on the small ledge. It is also very difficult, unless the ledge is covered by snow.
